Voronezh State Agrarian University named after Emperor Peter I was established in 1912 and is rightfully considered the first higher educational institution in the Central Chernozem region of Russia. More than 14 thousand students are studying at 7 faculties of Voronezh Agrarian University. The university implements 21 bachelor's degree programs, 3 specialties of higher education, 10 main directions of master's degree training, 17 specialties for the training of highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel. The teaching staff consists of more than 500 teachers, including 90 doctors of sciences, professors. The University maintains contacts with leading agricultural universities in 25 countries around the world.
